Morning…

:)

Sloop Slough…

In the morning when we would wake up, each day, and each evening…Kyle (and I on extended weekends) would look out at this view. This gorgeous view.

The many different tides did wonders with it. Messed with it. Those darn  tides made each morning, each day, and each evening look totally different. It was so fun to watch!!

He loved exploring around this slough. He loved walking, wading around…

We had so much fun in this slough. We swam in the summer when the tide was low and the sun was hot. We watched the many seals, herons, eagles, and those cute little silver birds play in this little ‘river’.

I loved how the sun would reflect off of the water, and the peaceful flow of the ‘river’…

Grandpa!!

So, Kyle is a Grandpa!!!

Blair, his oldest (the pretty blonde in the flowered shirt) had a little baby girl today!

Her name is Sloane Mary Oman ~ 6lbs 7oz. 19in, and born at 8:05am

I am sure that she is precious. And I am positive that Kyle’s spirit is grinning from ear to ear, proud as can be! He would have loved this little girlie - no matter what!!!

His spirit now will protect her, guide her, and love her…

:)

Poppy…

This is one of my all time favorite flowers, and now I have a bunch of these in my garden!

:)

Tulips…

:)

April flower…

This little tulip was out in my front yard by one of my blue pots. Love the colors.

Happy Birthday Dave!!!

You turned three years old today sweetheart!

So Daddy (Kyle) took little one year old Dave out for a McDonalds cheeseburger to celebrate his big day! It was so cute!

Mommy took him out for two cheeseburgers when he turned two years old…

Tonight though, I thought that a little ice cream was fitting for the ‘Birthday Boy’ (and Mommy…) to celebrate his big day! This (of course) followed by a couple of visits from a few of his friends.

He is a loved boy, for sure!

Happy Birthday Bo Bo Dave…Daddy and I love you.

“Squirrel”!!!!

:)

Nahcotta…

Now that I am a proud (part) owner of a nice lot in Nahcotta, Wa…there is much to do!!!

I now see my future stays at the beach will be filled with clearing brush, planting trees (and bulbs), and cleaning it up a bit.

Maybe one day build a greenhouse on it? Have a nice little trailer on it to spend the weekend? Put a couple of Latvian raised garden beds on it…? A fire pit? Who knows…

Right now, I dig just thinking about it!

I love it for so many reasons…
